2012 EBie Award – Green Building Council
New York-based building consultants Steven Winter Associates (SWA) received a 2012 EBieAwardTM for a building renovation project that combined Aeroseal duct sealing technology together with self balancing Constant Airflow Regulators from American Aldes to dramatically reduce energy usage. The award, honored SWA and the building owner, Legow Management for their innovative approach to an environmental improvement upgrade made to an existing building. This approach is now being used to increase energy effiency in hundreds of legacy buildings throughout the country.
2011 Best New Product Award – This Old House magazine
The building technology editors at This Old House magazine told us they’ve been keeping an eye on Aeroseal technology ever since it emerged from the research labs at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Now that the duct sealing solution is available for the first time to more U.S. home owners than ever before, they felt it was time to help spread the word about this “home energy conservation game changer.” Aeroseal won top honors in the Home Technology category for the This Old House 2011 Best New Home Product Awards.

“Energy 100” Award – U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)
The Aeroseal process won the “Energy 100” award from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The DOE also rated the Aeroseal duct sealing process as one of the 23 most beneficial technologies available to American consumers that has come out since the agency was created.
